熊果素 ( Arbutin ) 主要萃取自熊果 (Bearberry) 的葉子，具有使肌膚明亮的功效，能迅速的滲入肌膚而不影響肌膚細胞，藉由與造成黑色素產生的酪胺酸結合，能有效的阻斷酪胺酸(tyrosinase) 的活動以及麥拉寧 (melanin) 的生成，加速麥拉寧的分解與排除，確實 阻斷源頭，臉上的斑斑點點就可以一掃而盡了，此外，熊果素還能保護肌膚免於自由基的侵害，親水性佳，因此常添加於市售的美白產品中，尤其在亞洲國家中格外受到歡迎，為近年來十分流行的美白成分之一。

用途：適合調製各種DIY產品, 具有美白功效，但用量不當反而可能促進黑色素的生成。
