美國蘆薈膠
所有市售的蘆薈膠，都是以水為主體，添加蘆薈濃縮液添加卡波膠或稱卡波姆 (Carbopol or Carbomer) 增稠做成膠體，並微量添加抗菌劑、防腐劑以防止發霉長菌，延長保存期限。美國CAC生產的蘆薈膠，是以10倍濃縮蘆薈萃取液所調配，比一般市面上的蘆薈膠濃度高上數倍。
蘆薈在化妝品中應用最廣泛地就是作為防曬劑，其所含的蘆薈素、蒽醌類化合物、肉桂酸脂及香豆酸脂等對紫外線有一定的屏蔽作用，亦可以抑制黑色素形成，並且舒緩曬後肌膚、鎮痛清熱。
蘆薈膠可以與精油適度的混合，使用約50克的蘆薈膠與大約1克的精油(一般市售精油滴頭約20滴)，或是一次使用量的蘆薈膠，加上1~2滴的精油搓揉混合即可。建議可以使用：曬後舒緩精油，真正薰衣草精油、苦橙葉精油、芳樟木精油；美容美體用精油，胡蘿蔔籽精油、乳香精油、甜羅勒精油、杜松精油等等皆可以完美融合使用。

蘆薈膠本身有乳化作用，精油可以很好的被乳化稀釋

A rich soothing gel base that can be used (as is) as a moisturiser, or as a base for preparing serums and treatment gels.
