辛酸/癸酸甘油酯类 (Caprylic/Capric Glyceride)，PEG-6 辛酸/癸酸甘油酯類是一種親水性的潤膚酯，具有優越的賦脂性，可降低界面活性劑的刺激感，使用後的膚感柔滑，且提供良好的泡沫度及穩定性，為沐浴乳、洗髮精等日用清潔品的水性潤膚劑以及化妝品的乳化劑，可以用於水溶性洗劑配方。在化妝品中作皮膚調理劑、乳化劑和表面活性劑使用。作賦脂，它可以鎖住脂質成分,提高皮膚的柔軟度,可改善清潔後的皮膚脫脂的問題。在水-醇配方中，可以起到防止皮膚收縮的作用,其HLB值為19,可增溶很多油溶成分。用在卸妝水中,作為表面活性劑,它能溶解各種油脂,可使妝容很容易地脫落,因此應用廣泛。

PEG-6 Caprylic/capric glycerides are a mixture of fats (mono, di and triglycerides) derived from caprylic and capric acids (typically sourced from coconut oil). Caprylic acid and capric acid are saturated fatty acids found naturally in plant oils such as coconut and palm. It is used as an emollient/conditioning agent for shampoos, skin cleansers, creams and lotions.
Its mildness makes it particularly popular for Micellar Waters and other transparent, water-based product concepts.
Caprylic/capric glycerides can be used in skincare products as a gentle, non-greasy emollient, helping to replenish skin and retain moisture. They can also be used in fragrances for their solvent properties, helping to dissolve aromatic compounds that might otherwise clump together, and generally performing as a safer alternative to harsher solvent ingredients.
Recommended use: 0.5-5%
